Unlike other mods which tend to force their custom content onto players, the Doctor Who Client Mod and all of its extra features are purely optional. This mod incorporates a lot of content from the popular television series, and it adds another few layers to Minecraft by presenting worlds you can choose to save – or abandon, while trekking through time. It actually takes the user to different worlds, though it can be used to traverse a single world far faster than would be possible if traveling by foot, rail or horse. The Doctor Who Client Mod for Minecraft features the world’s first fully functional TARDIS. If traveling through time in an old-fashioned Police Box sounds like your kind of thing, then you’re probably a big Doctor Who fan.
